Hannah Schendel is establishing herself as a brilliant and collaborative young conductor. She was awarded second place in the The American Prize Competition 2021 in the community orchestra division and was a finalist in the university orchestra division. Currently, Schendel is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) under the mentorship of Mark Gibson. She holds a Master‘s Degree in Orchestral Conducting from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Minnesota
